Goodwill Receives Generous $4,000 Donation During “A Night in the Caribbean” Event

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous contribution, marked by a formal check presentation on August 28th. This contribution follows the successful event, Mad Jazz Presents… A Night in the Caribbean with Etienne Charles & Creole Soul, which took place on July 27th.

The event, which celebrated culture, community, and compassion, was a resounding success, thanks to the leadership and dedication of Pamela Yeung, Stafford County Board of Supervisors representative for the Garrisonville District, and Christopher Dorm, Vice President of Bell Digital Agency. Their instrumental roles in organizing this extraordinary evening, along with the generous contributions from Atlantic Builders, Hischler Law Firm, Riphean Group, CVOSM, Dupee Plumbing, Stafford Printing, Simms Furniture, and Stafford Kia of Fredericksburg, were key in making this event a reality.

The check presentation ceremony, held a month later, was a meaningful occasion, captured in a commemorative photograph featuring Rappahannock Goodwill’s leadership team: Steve Cox, President and CEO; Brian Roinestad, Chair of the Board of Directors; and Daryl Weedeman, COO—alongside Dr. Yeung and Mr. Dorm. This gesture represents a collective commitment to advancing Rappahannock Goodwill’s mission of shaping the workforce of the future, a mission the organization has proudly pursued since 1966.

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries extends its heartfelt thanks to all attendees, supporters, and community partners who made both the event and the check presentation ceremony truly memorable. Your generosity is essential in driving our mission forward and making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
